My name’s Nicki, and I’m your hostess. I’m a thirty-something web developer living in Birmingham, Alabama with my better half and his lovely daughter. I like to dabble in graphic design (when time allows). I’m a former editor for Addons.Mozilla.Org and spend a good deal of my time in the WordPress community. I am an avid gamer and an active blogger for BYKYC.com.

Grab a chair, your favorite pair of fluffy slippers, and get comfy! This is my slight introduction to one of my worst kept secrets: a love of cooking. hehe

You know, every woman I know has a particular container or some sort of receptacle for keeping recipes. My mother uses an old cigar box. Well, this is my “cute little recipe box” — a database-driven website. :cool:

This site began more out of convenience than anything, running only a simple HTML table/page and query statements to a MySQL database. It was hideous, LOL. However, now that this site is running a much more robust and user-friendly software, this will allow me to share my collection with family and friends as well as allow them to post their own.
